Amy Johnson brings joyful experience and local knowledge to

passion for interior design and a husband who has been in the building trade
for over 40 years, Amy’s knowledge of a home’s hidden potential gives her
clients a unique perspective on properties that may have been overlooked as possibilities.
Having grown up in Middletown and Atlantic Highlands where
she currently resides, Amy continues to explore the area, uncovering endless
new discoveries with her husband, Robert. They also take full advantage of the
ease and proximity of taking the Sea Streak Ferry into Manhattan with their
daughter Kelsie and her husband Anthony. As a resident of Atlantic Highlands
for over 50 years, Amy brings her knowledge and love of this area to help
others discover their dream home and experience the beauty and joy of Monmouth
County that she has come to know.
Prior to joining Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate,
Murphy & Co., Amy enjoyed a successful 28-year career in teaching, achieving
her Masters’ degree and additional certifications which she utilized as a
Professional Development Trainer. She held various leadership roles in the
Middletown school system where the key skills required included understanding
the positions of all parties, effective negotiating, clear communication and
confidentiality. All the elements that transfer seamlessly to real estate
transactions.
